Production
Our
preproduction consulting will get your production on
the right track. We can help with scripting,
storyboarding, location scouting or we can give you a
fair estimate of what a production could cost allowing
for different options.
Our
Shooting style Combines the use of
the latest
digital recording cameras with both old & new techniques. Our digital cameras
feature "optical stabilization" to keep moving shots rock
steady. We love to add camera motion to liven up a
program. We use Rolling dollies(western dolly), Mini
Camera cranes, Stedicams, Hand Held Techniques &
Camera mounts to make our programs more visually
interesting. Our film school background combined with
Mole Richardson and "Chimera" soft box lighting, helps us
get that "soft film look" without shooting on expensive
film. (versus our digital video recording)
Our
"DV" Digital recording process yields a better
picture quality than Betacam, Super VHS, 3/4 - Umatic ,
Hi-8 or any other analog recording process.However this
is true only if the digital video is edited on a native
DV "Firewire" editing system described below. Since our
format has such a high resolution. you can make
incredible photographs from one frame of digital
video.This can be used for brosures or websites
Our
Audio Techniques are revolutionary: Whenever Possible
we combine the use of Boom Microphones (The old way of
micing someone) with the newer technique of multiple
wireless lavoliers all recorded on separate audio
channels. Combining these techniques gives us the "best
of both worlds" with audio in the field.
Our
Real Time parametric and graphic audio equalizers can fix most any
audio problem during editing.
Our
Lossless Digital editing is second to none. We can
edit with DVcam And DV with no picture loss. We can also
work with 3/4 U-Matic, S-VHS or any other format if
playback equipment is supplied. We use "real time"
non-linear equipment; this enables us to move shots
around a project like a word processor edits text. All
this without waiting for the 2D effects or graphics to
render. We can also do thousands of customizable 3D
effects. These effects can be selected from "Boris
Effects" or the newer "Xplode Effects" or they may be
built from scratch. Our system Has 10 real time graphic
tracks each with it's own effects editor. This feature
enables us to have 10 different graphics on the screen
all moving in a different direction at once all done in
real time. The discreet logic system has only 2 real time
graphic tracks and Adobe Premiere RT only has 1 real time
graphic track.
